Located on the western border of Plano, this 200-acre park features vast areas of natural beauty for walking, jogging, hiking, orienteering, and other outdoor activity. One of the best spots in the park is the observation tower, offering you a lovely view of the city itself. Dogs and their owners can enjoy this area every day of the week from 5am to 11pm.

  • Dog Park at Windhaven Meadows Park

 Spanning five acres of grassland, the dog park is a fully fenced double-gated space with separate enclosed sections for large and small dogs. The park has several features including a dog rinse station located on the outside of each fenced area, waste pickup/disposal stations, water stations, benches & picnic tables. Shade shelters provide relief from summer heat and inclement weather, and the park also has LED lighting for those visiting after sunset. The dog park closes from sunrise to 4pm each Wednesday for routine maintenance.  


  • Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve

 5901 Los Rios Blvd, Plano, TX, US, 75074 

  Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve is dog-friendly. This park is the largest in Plano, spanning 800 acres in total size. There are a number of different trails that weave around the area. These nature trails can be accessed every day of the week from sunrise to sunset.

 John Wayne: An American Experience is a dog-friendly museum in Fort Worth, TX. Pets are welcome to join you inside the exhibit halls while on a leash. Learn about John Wayne's life and legacy during your visit to the exhibit that is housed near the Fort Worth Stockyards.

  The park has separate sections for large and small dogs, sized at 7 acres and 3 acres respectively. It’s also equipped with two shelters, various agility items, pet fountains and two aerated ponds making it perfect for pups of all sizes and dispositions. Humans will enjoy the park’s benches, and will be grateful for the dog wash station and waste stations that will make cleaning up after their four-legged friend a walk in the park. ZBonz is closed every Monday for scheduled maintenance. It can also close after a rainfall if the ground is deemed too saturated.

  • Phantom Glory Ghost Tour

812 Main Street Fort Worth, TX 76102 

  Our "Phantom Glory" Adults-Only tour in downtown Fort Worth will deliver historically accurate stories of violence, and will also include relevant hauntings and ghost tales, which will also explore Fort Worth's original outlaws through the centuries. Some of the stops will include: Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, The Ashton Hotel, the Land Title Building, the Jett Building, former home of the White Elephant Saloon, and the former Holmes Hotel. This tour will run nightly at 9:00pm and will last for approximately 90 minutes.  The Marion Sansom Park Trail is comprised of several interconnecting loops that wind through a wooded area with scenic vistas overlooking Lake Worth. It includes hiking & mountain-biking trails through forestland with a scenic waterfall & lake vistas.

  Mustang Park is a spacious, year round tent campground and dayuse area on the south side of Benbrook Lake in north-central Texas, accessible from Winscott Plover Road. Camping, picnicking, fishing, boat launching, and wildlife viewing are available. Mustang is a unique camping experience at Benbrook, where campers are not restricted to designated table sites or roadways - you may set up and camp anywhere in the park you like, even right on the shoreline. The adjacent swimming beach is popular, as is fishing along the shoreline of Mustang Point.

 TRWD’s Trinity Trails System winds through much of Fort Worth and is one of the Metroplex’s most used recreational facilities. Encompassing more than 70 miles, it provides an excellent venue for trail users to bike, walk, or run by yourself or with your dog. There are dog fountains along the trails and picnic tables if you and your four-legged friend get tired. Just remember to keep your pup on a leash at all times.
